Intec: Global values project

More than 80% of staff were involved in the research process
How Intec created a global culture

Challenge

Since being founded in 1997, Intec Telecom plc had grown organically and by acquisition. The international software group employed several thousand people in 31 offices across 27 counties. To help people around the company work more collaboratively they turned to Redhouse Lane.

Response

We implemented a two-month strategic research and planning programme across four continents – during which time we evaluated the business, how it operated and how people communicated internally and externally with their various audiences.

We developed, researched and implemented a new set of brand values which were launched throughout the company, together with an integrated communications programme to deliver their ambition of a ‘One Intec’ culture.

Result

The launch was enthusiastically received around the group. More than 80% of staff were involved in the research process with almost 900 applying to participate in strategic implementation groups. The company works more cohesively and efficiently, with a consistent and standardised approach to business objectives and communication.
